The radio interference (RI) caused by corona has become a widespread concern due to its electromagnetic interference with radio stations. This study analyzes the environmental factors that impact the RI level of AC transmission lines in high\u2010altitude areas using the 7\u2010month test results of the Guanting electromagnetic environment observation station. The findings indicate that the RI level is relatively stable in fair weather but varies significantly across seasons. Furthermore, there is a strong linear relationship between the RI value and the common logarithm of rainfall under rainy weather conditions, and this study provides a reasonable fitting curve of RI value and rainfall. The dispersion of RI is also greater under rainy, snowy, and haze weather conditions compared with fair weather conditions. Lastly, under haze weather conditions, RI is negatively correlated with meteorological optical visibility.
