This blockage was furthermore found to result from complete, but reversible, prevention of DNA synthesis. These findings that simulated high E<sub>m<\/sub> levels introduce a reversible G1 mitotic block in somatic cells in vitro lend credence to the supposition that natural modulation of cellular E<sub>m<\/sub> levels in vivo may constitute a basic mechanism for mitosis control in vivo.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.1159\/000224567","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2009,6,5]],"date-time":"2009-06-05T15:04:37Z","timestamp":1244214277000},"page":"168-182","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":87,"title":["Control of Somatic Cell Mitosis by Simulated Changes in the Transmembrane Potential Level"],"prefix":"10.1159","author":[{"given":"C.D.","family":"Cone, Jr.","sequence":"first","affiliation":[],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"given":"M.","family":"Tongier, Jr.","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]}],"member":"127","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2009,6,4]]},"container-title":["Oncology"],"original-title":[],"language":"en","link":[{"URL":"https:\/\/www.karger.com\/Article\/Pdf\/224567","content-type":"application\/pdf","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"text-mining"},{"URL":"https:\/\/karger.com\/article-pdf\/doi\/10.1159\/000224567","content-type":"unspecified","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"similarity-checking"}],"deposited":{"date-parts":[[2026,5,1]],"date-time":"2026-05-01T23:07:48Z","timestamp":1777676868000},"score":1,"resource":{"primary":{"URL":"https:\/\/karger.com\/article\/doi\/10.1159\/000224567"}},"subtitle":[],"short-title":[],"issued":{"date-parts":[[2009,6,4]]},"references-count":0,"URL":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1159\/000224567","archive":["Portico"],"relation":{},"ISSN":["0030-2414","1423-0232"],"issn-type":[{"value":"0030-2414","type":"print"},{"value":"1423-0232","type":"electronic"}],"subject":[],"published":{"date-parts":[[2009,6,4]]}}}
