Graphic design, an art discipline requiring high-dimensional interaction, benefits from AR's ability to enhance interactivity in virtual and physical teaching environments. This study explores trends in AR development within graphic design education, focusing on college students. A systematic literature review from 2016 to 2022 investigates AR applications in art teaching and their impact on students. Findings indicate limited use of AR in graphic design education, predominantly focusing on marker-based AR, highlighting a research gap in exploring other AR types. This study contributes to the field by identifying the need for diverse AR applications and providing insights into their potential to enhance student engagement, creativity, and learning outcomes in graphic
