One example is the Youth Association of the Islamic Community (CilJovem) in Lisbon. Since September\u00a011, its members are frequently asked to speak about Islam-related issues in the Portuguese media. Islam and Muslim-ness are important to them and they have become more engaged in Muslim activities at the international level.
