Cet essai n\u2019arrive jamais \u00e0 destination car il est intercept\u00e9 et conserv\u00e9 par la police politique portugaise. Plus de cinq d\u00e9cennies apr\u00e8s sa r\u00e9daction, ce texte est publi\u00e9 pour la premi\u00e8re fois. Il r\u00e9v\u00e8le un programme de recherche et des probl\u00e9matiques qui restent encore pertinents non seulement pour l\u2019\u00e9tude du football au Portugal mais surtout pour l\u2019interpr\u00e9tation des structures historiques de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 portugaise.
