Large numbers of parameters may initially appear to be needed in simulations; the user needs the flexibility to evaluate as many parameters as possible. Mathe matical and statistical tools can reduce the final set of parame ters to an efficient minimum. This paper describes the con cepts underlying PRE-PRIM, a preprocessor to simulations integrated by the present author.
