First, a switched positive time-delay observer is designed under average dwell time switching signals and numerical conditions are given in the form of linear programming. By providing a new design approach for the observation gain matrix of switched positive time-delay systems, the computational complexity of the numerical conditions is reduced. Moreover, the results can be extended to the switched positive systems with multiple delays. Then, a switched positive time-delay observer is presented under arbitrary switching signals.
