Medline was the predominant CD-ROM product consistently used by all types of libraries. Half of the academic libraries edited or further processed search results; only 22% to 44% of the other types of libraries performed this activity. Word- Perfect was the predominant editing software used by all types of libraries. Reference Manager and Procite were used equally to capture search results; Reference Manager was used more frequently to reformat search results. The same systems were used for telelcommunications by all types of libraries: Procomm and Smartcom were used more frequently by all types of libraries than other telecommunications soft ware.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.1177\/016555159301900308","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2007,3,17]],"date-time":"2007-03-17T23:37:35Z","timestamp":1174174655000},"page":"235-238","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":0,"title":["CD-ROM use and file interaction: An analysis of a sample of medical libraries"],"prefix":"10.1177","volume":"19","author":[{"given":"H.","family":"Miido","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"International Agency for Research on Cancer, Lyon, France"}]}],"member":"179","published-online":{"date-parts":[[1993,6,1]]},"reference":[{"key":"atypb1","author":"H.
