The original contributions with respect to related works in the field are mainly a direct global method for relative 3D reconstruction and a geometric method to select a correct set of reference points among all im age points. Experimental results from both simulated and real image sequences are presented, and robustness of the method and reconstruction precision of the results are discussed.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.1177\/027836499501400607","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2007,3,17]],"date-time":"2007-03-17T21:44:02Z","timestamp":1174167842000},"page":"619-632","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":68,"title":["Relative 3D Reconstruction Using Multiple Uncalibrated Images"],"prefix":"10.1177","volume":"14","author":[{"given":"R.","family":"Mohr","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"LIFIA CNRS INRIA 38031 Grenoble, France"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"given":"L.","family":"Quan","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"LIFIACNRSINRIA 38031 Grenoble, France"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]},{"given":"F.","family":"Veillon","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"LIFIA CNRS INRIA 38031 Grenoble, France"}],"role":[{"vocabulary":"crossref","role":"author"}]}],"member":"179","published-online":{"date-parts":[[1995,12,1]]},"reference":[{"key":"atypb1","volume-title":"Proceedings of the Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition","author":"Beyer, H.A."},{"issue":"8","key":"atypb2","first-page":"855","volume":"37","author":"Brown, D.C.","year":"1971","journal-title":"Photogrammetric Engineer."},{"key":"atypb3","volume-title":"Proceedings of DARPA Image Understanding Workshop","author":"Bums, J.B."},{"key":"atypb4","volume-title":"Proceedings of the 3rd International Conference on Computer Vision","author":"Deriche, R."},{"key":"atypb5","volume-title":"Proceedings of the 2nd European Conference on Computer Vision","author":"Faugeras, O.D."},{"key":"atypb6","volume-title":"Three-Dimensional Computer Vision\u2014A Geometric Viewpoint","author":"Faugeras, O.D.","year":"1993"},{"key":"atypb7","volume-title":"Proceedings of the 2nd European Conference on Computer Vision","author":"Faugeras, O.D."},{"key":"atypb8","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","DOI":"10.1109\/34.99233"},{"key":"atypb9","volume-title":"Proceedings of the Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition","author":"Hartley, R."},{"key":"atypb10","volume-title":"Affine structure from motion.
