The DOF controller modes do not need to be synchronized with the system modes and a hidden Markov model (HMM) is adopted to characterize this phenomenon. A convex set method is used to solve the saturation problem. Firstly, a sufficient condition is derived to guarantee that the system is stochastically admissible (SA) with\n                    <jats:inline-formula>\n                      <mml:math xmlns:mml=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1998\/Math\/MathML\" display=\"inline\" overflow=\"scroll\">\n                        <mml:mrow>\n                          <mml:msub>\n                            <mml:mrow>\n                              <mml:mi>H<\/mml:mi>\n                            <\/mml:mrow>\n                            <mml:mrow>\n                              <mml:mi>\u221e<\/mml:mi>\n                            <\/mml:mrow>\n                          <\/mml:msub>\n                        <\/mml:mrow>\n                      <\/mml:math>\n                    <\/jats:inline-formula>\n                    performance. Secondly, the solution to solving DOF controller gains is obtained. Moreover, the maximization domain of attraction (DOA) is estimated by optimal algorithm.
