The resulting simulation package, PvmGeant, achieves an almost linear speedup in physics-event simulation. This article describes modifications to the original GEANT code, its integration with PVM, and performance tests that were conducted at the comput ing cluster at The Supercomputing Computations Re search Institute at Florida State University.
