These hashtags showcase relationships between feminist online publics, demonstrate ways that hashtags circulate racial justice discourse, and exemplify the fluidity and intersectionality of racialized and feminist online publics. I draw on critical technocultural discourse analysis (CTDA) (Brock, 2012) as my technique in order to examine the hashtag\u2019s discursivity. In order to analyze message spread and network relationships, I then provide a network analysis that illustrates message circulation in online feminist spheres. <\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.1177\/1461444816663485","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2016,8,13]],"date-time":"2016-08-13T01:10:15Z","timestamp":1471050615000},"page":"495-514","update-policy":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1177\/sage-journals-update-policy","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":109,"title":["Racial justice activist hashtags: Counterpublics and discourse circulation"],"prefix":"10.1177","volume":"20","author":[{"given":"Rachel","family":"Kuo","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"New York University, USA"}]}],"member":"179","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2016,8,12]]},"reference":[{"key":"bibr1-1461444816663485","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","DOI":"10.1146\/annurev.soc.26.1.611"},{"key":"bibr2-1461444816663485","unstructured":"Bitch Media (2014) About us.
