The direct influence of digital tools on motivation and associated processes remains limited, despite their growing popularity. The research employed Self-Determination Theory (SDT) to interview 750 employees regarding the relationships between digital tools, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and employee motivation. The study employed structural equation modeling (SEM) and findings revealed that perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use significantly mediate the relationship between digital tools and employee motivation, with path coefficients of 0.39 and 0.45, respectively. The findings indicated that perceived ease of use (\u03b2\u2009=\u20090.45) and perceived usefulness (\u03b2\u2009=\u20090.39) are significant determinants of enhanced employee motivation.
