To date, those approaches have proven inadequate. We thus trouble the fairness paradigm, suggesting a reorientation towards repair and redress. We do so through concerted attention to and investigation of,\n                    <jats:italic>algorithmic reparation<\/jats:italic>\n                    . First introduced at the peak of algorithmic fairness, algorithmic reparation seeded an alternative that has since spread and evolved.
