The influence of amount of constituents, namely dendrites, eutectic, silicon particles and intermetallics as well as their geometrical features, namely secondary dendrite arm spacing, silicon eutectic thickness and intermetallics thickness on both ultimate tensile strength and strain to failure is evaluated.
