A computer-aided pulmonary vascular segmentation algorithm was employed to automatically measure total intrapulmonary vessel volume (TIPVV), intrapulmonary arterial vessel volume (IPVVa) and intrapulmonary venous vessel volume (IPVVv). Additionally, IPVVs were analyzed and compared within five specific vessel diameter groups: 0.8\u20131.6\u00a0mm, 1.6\u20132.4\u00a0mm, 2.4\u20133.2\u00a0mm, 3.2\u20134.0\u00a0mm, and &gt;\u20094.0\u00a0mm.<\/jats:p>\n                  <\/jats:sec>\n                  <jats:sec>\n                    <jats:title>Results<\/jats:title>\n                    <jats:p>\n                      TIPVV and IPVVv showed no significant differences between groups. The IPVVa measured in CTPA-negative subjects was 47.79 (42.48, 54.10) mL\u00b7m\n                      <jats:sup>\u2212\u20092<\/jats:sup>\n                      , while that in vasculitis patients with pulmonary vascular involvement was 44.86 (39.33, 52.58) mL\u00b7m\n                      <jats:sup>\u2212\u20092<\/jats:sup>\n                      . The IPVVa in vasculitis patients with pulmonary vascular involvement was significantly lower than that in CTPA-negative subjects (\n                      <jats:italic>p<\/jats:italic>\n                      \u2009&lt;\u20090.01). In pulmonary arteries with diameters of 0.8\u20131.6\u00a0mm and 2.4\u20133.2\u00a0mm, the IPVVa in vasculitis patients with pulmonary vascular involvement was lower than that in CTPA-negative subjects (\n                      <jats:italic>p<\/jats:italic>\n                      \u2009&lt;\u20090.05).
