However, all participants were in advance informed about the study and formally asked (by email or verbally) to consent for participation. All participants voluntarily decided to participate in this study. Visits to nursing units for observation, interviews, and inquiries with nurses are also with knowledge of the nurse managers. Before interviews nurses were informed that the given information would be processed and would not be traceable. Several short inquiries were part of two other adjacent studies (on devices in general and on administrative tasks), where the MEMR was mentioned. Nurses were on forehand informed of these studies by the nurse manager and also introduced by the researcher. They gave verbal consent to participate. The specific input of nurses in this study cannot be traced to an individual.
