An extended evaluation of the available flexibility throughout the year as well as a correlation analysis between the outside temperature and flexibility is performed. The influence of pooling households in the prediction process is assessed. The impact of cutting the power to heating appliances and the incurred rebound effect are also described.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.1186\/s42162-020-00126-4","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2020,10,28]],"date-time":"2020-10-28T13:02:36Z","timestamp":1603890156000},"update-policy":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1007\/springer_crossmark_policy","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":7,"title":["Flexibility quantification in households: a swiss case study"],"prefix":"10.1186","volume":"3","author":[{"given":"Yousra","family":"Sidqi","sequence":"first","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"given":"Pierre","family":"Ferrez","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"given":"Dominique","family":"Gabioud","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"given":"Pierre","family":"Roduit","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]}],"member":"297","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2020,10,28]]},"reference":[{"key":"126_CR1","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","first-page":"113387","DOI":"10.1016\/j.apenergy.2019.113387","volume":"251","author":"A Arteconi","year":"2019","unstructured":"Arteconi, A, Mugnini A, Polonara F (2019) Energy flexible buildings: A methodology for rating the flexibility performance of buildings with electric heating and cooling systems.
