This raises questions like:<\/jats:p><jats:p>How is information represented?<\/jats:p><jats:p>How is it stored?<\/jats:p><jats:p>How is it retrieved?<\/jats:p><jats:p>Then, how is it used?<\/jats:p><jats:p>This paper tries to deal with all these at once. When you get an idea and want to \u201cremember\u201d it, you create a \u201cK\u2010line\u201d for it. When later activated, the K\u2010line induces a partial mental state resembling the one that created it. A \u201cpartial mental state\u201d is a subset of those mental agencies operating at one moment.
