This paper presents a study that evaluates the processing parameters (laser power, scanning velocity, and powder mass flowrate) under the form of single-cladding layer (clad height, clad width, and depth penetration into the substrate) and hardness of coating. A plan of experiments, based on orthogonal arrays, was established considering laser cladding with prefixed processing parameters.
