This paper adopts the innovative proof of interest algorithm (PoIA) consensus mechanism to achieve lightweight verification. The core methods include formulaic reputation evaluation algorithms to quantify node behavior and economic incentives, as well as deposit mechanisms to increase attack costs. Experimental studies have shown that this technology can still maintain 93.2% availability even under high malicious node rates. After applying this technology, the throughput of the fog computing network is 985TPS, the latency is reduced to 125 ms, and the energy consumption is reduced by 26.8%. The experiment confirmed that this technology significantly improves the accuracy of malicious behavior detection and resource allocation efficiency through the collaborative innovation of dynamic reputation evaluation and PoIA lightweight consensus, providing a reliable solution for large-scale fog computing deployment.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.13052\/jicts2245-800x.1413","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2026,3,17]],"date-time":"2026-03-17T02:32:03Z","timestamp":1773714723000},"source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":0,"title":["Fog Node Trust Evaluation Technology Combined with a Consensus Mechanism and its Application"],"prefix":"10.13052","author":[{"given":"Guanglei","family":"Sheng","sequence":"first","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"given":"Qingtao","family":"Wu","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]}],"member":"5195","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2026,3,15]]},"container-title":["Journal of ICT Standardization"],"original-title":[],"link":[{"URL":"https:\/\/journals.riverpublishers.com\/index.php\/JICTS\/article\/download\/30993\/23615","content-type":"application\/pdf","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"text-mining"},{"URL":"https:\/\/journals.riverpublishers.com\/index.php\/JICTS\/article\/download\/30993\/23617","content-type":"text\/html","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"text-mining"},{"URL":"https:\/\/journals.riverpublishers.com\/index.php\/JICTS\/article\/download\/30993\/23615","content-type":"unspecified","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"similarity-checking"}],"deposited":{"date-parts":[[2026,3,18]],"date-time":"2026-03-18T02:31:58Z","timestamp":1773801118000},"score":1,"resource":{"primary":{"URL":"https:\/\/journals.riverpublishers.com\/index.php\/JICTS\/article\/view\/30993"}},"subtitle":[],"short-title":[],"issued":{"date-parts":[[2026,3,15]]},"references-count":0,"URL":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.13052\/jicts2245-800x.1413","relation":{},"ISSN":["2246-0853","2245-800X"],"issn-type":[{"value":"2246-0853","type":"electronic"},{"value":"2245-800X","type":"print"}],"subject":[],"published":{"date-parts":[[2026,3,15]]}}}
