{"status":"ok","message-type":"work","message-version":"1.0.0","message":{"indexed":{"date-parts":[[2025,10,23]],"date-time":"2025-10-23T10:58:48Z","timestamp":1761217128845},"reference-count":0,"publisher":"Walter de Gruyter GmbH","issue":"1","content-domain":{"domain":[],"crossmark-restriction":false},"short-container-title":[],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2004,1,1]]},"abstract":"<jats:title>Abstract<\/jats:title>\n               <jats:p> The influence of the local density inhomogeneities in supercritical hexafluorobenzene C<jats:sub>6<\/jats:sub>F<jats:sub>6<\/jats:sub> has been assessed using Raman spectroscopy. <\/jats:p>\n               <jats:p> The polarized and depolarized profiles associated with the \"breathing\" mode of the molecule has been analyzed for the fluid in a wide density range, namely under isothermal conditions. <\/jats:p>\n               <jats:p> The evolution upon the density of the band center position of the isotropic profile along the near-critical isotherm showed an anomalous behavior, characterized by a plateau in the density range (0.6 &lt; <jats:italic>\u03c1<\/jats:italic>* = <jats:italic>\u03c1<\/jats:italic>\/\u03c1<jats:sub>C<\/jats:sub> &lt; 1.3), which is not observed along the isotherm <jats:italic>T<\/jats:italic>* ~ 1.11. It has been interpreted as due to the existence of local-density inhomogeneities and the density enhancement factor has been evaluated. <\/jats:p>\n               <jats:p> The rotational dynamics of the main symmetry axis of the molecule is governed by a diffusional process.
