In diesem Kontext stellen Smart Dust und Micro Robots mikro-elektro-mechanische Systeme im Sub-Millimeter-Bereich dar, je nach Auspr\u00e4gung mit Sensorik\u2011, Verarbeitungs\u2011, Kommunikations- und Aktuatorikf\u00e4higkeiten ausgestattet. Dieser praxisorientierte Beitrag besch\u00e4ftigt sich mit der Rolle von Smart Dust und Micro Robots im industriellen Sektor auf der Evidenzgrundlage von Fokusgruppen mit Industrievertretern. Interessierten Fach- und F\u00fchrungskr\u00e4ften wird aufgezeigt, welche Potentiale resultieren, welche H\u00fcrden gemeistert werden m\u00fcssen und welche strategische Aktivit\u00e4ten es zur wertsch\u00f6pfenden Nutzung in die Wege zu leiten gilt.
