W\u00e4hrend hierin absehbar das Potenzial zur generellen Flexibilisierung von Arbeit liegt, m\u00fcssen Arbeitgeber ver\u00e4nderte Formen der Zusammenarbeit auch erm\u00f6glichen und r\u00e4umliche Distanzen \u00fcberbr\u00fccken. Hinzu kommt, dass der unerwartete Eintritt der pandemischen Lage oftmals zur ad-hoc-Einf\u00fchrung von Werkzeugen gef\u00fchrt hat, die als \u201eErste Hilfe\u201c-L\u00f6sung grunds\u00e4tzliche Kommunikation und Kollaboration erm\u00f6glichen sollten. Knapp drei Jahre nach Beginn der Pandemie vergleichen wir gemeinsam mit Initiatoren und Nutzern zwei derartige Anwendungsf\u00e4lle, die die Metaverse-L\u00f6sung Gather eingef\u00fchrt haben. In einer multiperspektivischen Untersuchung fragen wir nach den geplanten und realisierten Mehrwerten und stellen Verbindungen zu den Features der Software her. Aus den Erkenntnissen leiten wir zwei Arten von Handlungsempfehlungen ab.
