Eine Vielzahl von Unternehmen nutzen Cloud-basierte L\u00f6sungen f\u00fcr verschiedenste Anwendungszwecke. Die Virtualisierung und Zusammenlegung von IT-Ressourcen wie Speicher, Anwendungen und Servern verbessert die Flexibilit\u00e4t und Verf\u00fcgbarkeit von IT-Services. Dies erm\u00f6glicht eine schnellere und hochverf\u00fcgbare Bereitstellung von digitalen Diensten und Anwendungen sowie eine einfache gemeinsame Nutzung von IT-Innovationen. Der Beitrag hebt die Vorteile des Cloud Computing hervor, darunter schnelle Elastizit\u00e4t, messbarer Service, Ressourcenpooling und Selbstbedienung auf Abruf. Allerdings kann Cloud Computing zu h\u00f6heren Kosten f\u00fchren, insbesondere bei datenintensiven Anwendungen. Dar\u00fcber hinaus m\u00fcssen Cloud-Services in das IT-Service-Management eines Unternehmens integriert werden, um unbeabsichtigte Schatten-IT zu vermeiden und die zunehmende Komplexit\u00e4t bei der Verwaltung externer Service-Provider zu kontrollieren. Etablierte Frameworks f\u00fcr das IT-Service-Management, wie ITIL und COBIT, bieten Referenzprozesse und Managementpraktiken f\u00fcr wertorientierte Ans\u00e4tze.
