O instrumento mais utilizado para aferir a autenticidade do l\u00edder \u00e9 o Authentic Leadership Questionnaire (ALQ). No Brasil, esta medida encontra-se validada, contudo, \u00e9 ainda necess\u00e1rio refor\u00e7ar as suas evid\u00eancias de validade para este pa\u00eds. O objetivo desta investiga\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 apresentar evid\u00eancias adicionais de validade do ALQ para o contexto brasileiro de trabalho. Participaram no estudo profissionais l\u00edderes (N = 437) e liderados (N = 1329), de organiza\u00e7\u00f5es da regi\u00e3o sul do pa\u00eds. O ALQ foi aplicado nas vers\u00f5es de auto e heteroavalia\u00e7\u00e3o. An\u00e1lises Fatoriais Confirmat\u00f3rias indicam a presen\u00e7a dos quatro fatores do modelo de Lideran\u00e7a Aut\u00eantica, e h\u00e1 confiabilidade e validade do ALQ para as amostras brasileiras estudadas. A natureza privada das organiza\u00e7\u00f5es impacta na percep\u00e7\u00e3o de autenticidade na lideran\u00e7a, contudo os resultados n\u00e3o confirmam a import\u00e2ncia das vari\u00e1veis sociodemogr\u00e1ficas (idade, sexo, escolaridade e renda pessoal) e da dimens\u00e3o da organiza\u00e7\u00e3o.
