The transfer of this royal asset to the nuns marked the beginning of a new stage in the lives of both the church and its newfound patrons. Due to the documentary limitations and lacunae characteristic of the archival reserves of both patron and dependent institutions, it is not always easy to detail the jurisdictional, sociolo\u00adgical, economic, and fiscal nuances entailed in the arrangement.
