In their research at HTWG Konstanz, University of Applied Sciences, they investigate the impact of a virtual environment on the effectiveness of the work performed in it, search for design variables, and observe the well-being of the users in the process. With their findings, Marszalek and Volz provide a first proposal to address the research gap regarding the influence of the environment on work in virtual realities on the basis of design research.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.14361\/9783839451182-016","type":"book-chapter","created":{"date-parts":[[2020,11,5]],"date-time":"2020-11-05T04:31:46Z","timestamp":1604550706000},"page":"148-154","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":0,"title":["Augmented Perception"],"prefix":"10.14361","author":[{"given":"Yannick","family":"Marszalek","sequence":"first","affiliation":[]},{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0003-3401-4155","authenticated-orcid":true,"given":"Dominik","family":"Volz","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[]}],"member":"5471","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2020,10,27]]},"container-title":["Design","Matters of Communication - Formen und Materialit\u00e4ten gestalteter Kommunikation"],"original-title":[],"language":"de","link":[{"URL":"https:\/\/transcript.degruyter.com\/view\/book\/9783839451182\/10.14361\/9783839451182-016.xml","content-type":"text\/html","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"text-mining"},{"URL":"https:\/\/www.degruyter.com\/document\/doi\/10.14361\/9783839451182-016\/xml","content-type":"application\/xml","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"text-mining"},{"URL":"https:\/\/www.degruyter.com\/document\/doi\/10.14361\/9783839451182-016\/pdf","content-type":"unspecified","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"similarity-checking"}],"deposited":{"date-parts":[[2021,11,5]],"date-time":"2021-11-05T09:02:44Z","timestamp":1636102964000},"score":1,"resource":{"primary":{"URL":"https:\/\/www.transcript-verlag.de\/chunk_detail_seite.php?doi=10.14361\/9783839451182-016"}},"subtitle":["Can Virtual Environments Have an Impact on Well-being and Work Effectiveness?"],"short-title":[],"issued":{"date-parts":[[2020,10,27]]},"ISBN":["9783837651188","9783839451182"],"references-count":0,"URL":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.14361\/9783839451182-016","relation":{"is-identical-to":[{"id-type":"doi","id":"10.1515\/9783839451182-016","asserted-by":"object"}]},"ISSN":["2702-8801","2702-881X"],"issn-type":[{"value":"2702-8801","type":"print"},{"value":"2702-881X","type":"electronic"}],"subject":[],"published":{"date-parts":[[2020,10,27]]}}}
