J. Ed., Tech. Soc."],"abstract":"<jats:p>To promote the attendance of children with Special Health Needs in Arts Education Programmes of Music in Portugal, we conducted six awareness workshops. The aim of this study is to evaluate the perceptions and degree of satisfaction of the Participants regarding the Trainer and the contents presented. An Evaluation Questionnaire was developed and validated with closed and open questions, whose answers were subjected to the content analysis technique. In total, 156 answers to the questionnaire were subject to analysis, always safeguarding anonymity and all ethical issues involved. As a result, the Trainer and the Training were evaluated as Very Good. Most of the Participants are over 41 years old and few are involved in actions related to Special Education. It is concluded that there is a need to develop further specific training that promotes collaborative work and good practices towards inclusion. It is also important the implementation of curricular adaptations, enabling spaces, the use of support Technologies\/Products\/Software, adapted musical instruments and ADMIs to be used in the teaching\/learning of music.
