In order to model these\nprocesses, a powerful and universally usable mathematical modeling\nconcept \u2013 xHPN (extended Hybrid Petri Nets) \u2013 has been\nestablished. This formalism is used as specification for the PNlib\nrealized by the object-oriented modeling language Modelica.
