These environments aim\nto deliver pervasive care through ubiquitous sensing by\nmonitoring the occupants Activities of Daily Living. In order\nfor these environments to succeed in achieving their\ngoal, it is crucial that sensors deployed in the environment\nperform faultlessly. In this research we investigate\naddressing anomalous sensor behavior through the utilization\nof a mobile robot. The robot\u2019s role is twofold; it\nmust provide substitution in the presence of suspected\nsensor faults and act as an observer of anomalous sensor\nbehavior in order to understand the changes that occur in\nthe behavior of sensors deployed within the environment\nover time.
