This study describes a process analysis of the integration of a collaborative system into a flexible component injection system for the automotive industry. The article follows a case study research and analysis methodology, so during its development, different phases of the process were addressed, which involved defining, analysing and improving the approach, with an emphasis on the critical aspects that are key to improving the production process. The results showed how a careful study can be useful for improving production processes on a production line. These results are interesting because they made it possible to identify the most economical combination that resulted in an increase in production and quality with a reduced investment.
