There are as yet only a few studies on evaluating the compressive strength of coating mortar from specimens collected in situ. This paper analyzes the possibility of correlating non-standard specimens, prepared in laboratory with several coats, with cores extracted from prototypes of brick coated with mortar (traditional and premixed) through the pull-off technique.
