Essas reflex\u00f5es podem acontecer nos mais diversos contextos, como manifesta\u00e7\u00f5es nas ruas ou atrav\u00e9s dos meios de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o, a partir de hist\u00f3rias por muito tempo silenciadas, de pessoas e grupos sociais discriminados. Neste artigo, refletimos sobre como o cinema pode constituir um espa\u00e7o de ativismo mnem\u00f3nico ao representar narrativas de alteridade e lan\u00e7ar luz sobre quest\u00f5es sociais de grande import\u00e2ncia, como as experi\u00eancias migrat\u00f3rias que atualmente t\u00eam assumido uma posi\u00e7\u00e3o de destaque nas produ\u00e7\u00f5es audiovisuais. Para isso, realizamos uma an\u00e1lise explorat\u00f3ria da produ\u00e7\u00e3o cinematogr\u00e1fica com financiamento p\u00fablico em Portugal, de 2018 a 2022, a fim de analisar suas principais tem\u00e1ticas. Foram recolhidas todas as sinopses de filmes e outras produ\u00e7\u00f5es audiovisuais (359) publicadas neste per\u00edodo nos cat\u00e1logos do Instituto do Cinema e Audiovisual (ICA) e dispon\u00edveis online. Esse material textual foi analisado com aux\u00edlio do software Iramuteq. A an\u00e1lise indicou a aus\u00eancia de termos como \u201cracismo\u201d ou \u201cdiscrimina\u00e7\u00e3o social\u201d nas sinopses, mesmo em produ\u00e7\u00f5es que abordavam essas quest\u00f5es ao retratarem experi\u00eancias migrat\u00f3rias. Dentre os principais temas, destacam-se a (i) produ\u00e7\u00e3o art\u00edstica e artes em geral, (ii) vida quotidiana e rela\u00e7\u00f5es interpessoais (e.g., fam\u00edlia, amizade, amor) al\u00e9m da (iii) mem\u00f3ria hist\u00f3rica e conflitos. Explor\u00e1mos tamb\u00e9m, com mais detalhe, as curtas-metragens produzidas nesse per\u00edodo (120), o que permitiu a identifica\u00e7\u00e3o de narrativas contra-hegem\u00f3nicas, refor\u00e7ando o papel que o cinema pode desempenhar no combate \u00e0s amn\u00e9sias societais.\r\nPalavras-chave: Cinema; Ativismo mnem\u00f3nico; Migra\u00e7\u00f5es; Mem\u00f3ria social\r\nAbstract: \r\nMemory activism can be understood as a type of activism that aims to promote a greater diversity of stories in the public sphere, assuming that strategic reflections on the past and memory are crucial ways of transforming society. These reflections can take place in the most diverse contexts, such as protests in the streets or through the media, based on the long-silenced stories of people and social groups who have been discriminated against. In this article, we reflect on how cinema can constitute a space for memory activism by representing narratives of otherness and shedding light on social issues of great importance, such as migratory experiences, which have currently taken centre stage in audiovisual productions. To do this, we carried out an exploratory analysis of publicly funded film production in Portugal from 2018 to 2022 in order to analyse its main themes. All the synopses of films and other audiovisual productions (359) published during this period in the catalogues of the Instituto do Cinema e Audiovisual (ICA) and available online were collected. This textual material was analysed using Iramuteq software. The analysis indicated the absence of terms such as \"racism\" or \"social discrimination\" in the synopses, even in productions that addressed these issues when portraying migratory experiences. Among the main themes were (i) artistic production and the arts in general, (ii) daily life and interpersonal relationships (e.g. family, friendship, love) and (iii) historical memory and conflicts.
