No intuito de identificar as representa\u00e7\u00f5es sociais do ato de comprar dessa faixa et\u00e1ria, pedimos a 482 adolescentes brasileiros e a 238 adolescentes portugueses para se expressarem sobre a palavra \"comprar\" atrav\u00e9s de uma tarefa de associa\u00e7\u00e3o de palavras. As respostas recolhidas foram analisadas por meio do programa de an\u00e1lise textual Alceste que extraiu seis classes relacionadas a produtos t\u00edpicos do p\u00fablico adolescente, aos aspectos da compra (emocional e cognitivo) e ao ambiente de compra. Verificou-se um efeito do sexo de perten\u00e7a e do contexto socioecon\u00f3mico sobre as representa\u00e7\u00f5es
