Os question\u00e1rios foram aplicados a 1089 alunos do 6 \u00ba, 7 \u00ba, 9 \u00ba e 10\u00ba anos de escolaridade (idade mediana = 13) em Portugal Continental, a partir dos quais foram extra\u00eddas duas subamostras aleat\u00f3rias. Uma subamostra foi submetida a an\u00e1lise fatorial explorat\u00f3ria e a segunda, a uma an\u00e1lise fatorial confirmat\u00f3ria. Emergiram duas dimens\u00f5es: envolvimento no trabalho acad\u00eamico e participa\u00e7\u00e3o na aula. A primeira escala revelou uma consist\u00eancia interna aceit\u00e1vel, revelando-se \u00fatil e adequada para avaliar as percep\u00e7\u00f5es dos alunos sobre o seu envolvimento comportamental escolar.
