The research presented itself as exploratory and descriptive, employing a mixed approach, and was carried out in undergraduate courses in PE at nine public universities in the Brazilian Amazon. The techniques used were documentary analysis and a semi-structured questionnaire, applied to 36 trainee advisory teachers. From the deductive-inductive thematic analysis, three main themes resulted: i) organization of the internship; ii) conceptions; and iii) teaching ages.
