Apesar das boas propriedades el\u00e9tricas, um dos principais inconvenientes destes materiais s\u00e3o as altas temperaturas de sinteriza\u00e7\u00e3o (normalmente acima de 1400 \u00b0C) necess\u00e1rias para completa densifica\u00e7\u00e3o. Com o intuito de melhorar a sinterabilidade da c\u00e9ria, \u00f3xidos de metais de transi\u00e7\u00e3o com baixo ponto de fus\u00e3o t\u00eam sido usados como aditivos de sinteriza\u00e7\u00e3o. Neste contexto, o objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar o efeito do teor de gadol\u00ednia (Gd2O3) na densifica\u00e7\u00e3o e propriedades el\u00e9tricas de solu\u00e7\u00f5es s\u00f3lidas de c\u00e9ria com CuO como aditivo de sinteriza\u00e7\u00e3o. P\u00f3s com composi\u00e7\u00f5es nominais Ce0,99-xGdxCu0,01O2-\u03b4 (x= 0, 0,2 e 0,3) foram sintetizados pelo m\u00e9todo dos precursores polim\u00e9ricos, calcinados a 500 \u00b0C e caracterizados por difratometria de raios X (DRX). A densidade relativa foi avaliada em amostras sinterizadas entre 950 e 1050 \u00b0C. As propriedades el\u00e9tricas foram estudadas por espectroscopia de imped\u00e2ncia. Os resultados de DRX indicaram a obten\u00e7\u00e3o de solu\u00e7\u00f5es s\u00f3lidas com estrutura c\u00fabica do tipo fluorita. O uso de materiais nanoparticulados associado a um aditivo de sinteriza\u00e7\u00e3o permitiu a obten\u00e7\u00e3o de cer\u00e2micas com densidades relativas superiores a 92% ap\u00f3s sinteriza\u00e7\u00e3o em temperaturas t\u00e3o baixas quanto 1000 \u00b0C.
