(Bauru)"],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2014,4]]},"abstract":"<jats:p>A sociedade atual depara-se com assuntos medi\u00e1ticos e controversos, de raiz cient\u00edfica, de que \u00e9 exemplo a problem\u00e1tica sobre os organismos geneticamente modificados (OGM). Estes organismos s\u00e3o, para uns, uma mais-valia e, para outros, algo perigoso, o que tem motivado um debate a n\u00edvel cient\u00edfico, pol\u00edtico e econ\u00f3mico, do qual os cidad\u00e3os n\u00e3o se devem abster. Para tal, estes indiv\u00edduos devem ser pessoas informadas, respons\u00e1veis e ativas, aspetos para os quais contribui a forma\u00e7\u00e3o em ci\u00eancias. A investiga\u00e7\u00e3o realizada centrou-se na problem\u00e1tica dos OGMs e envolveu a aplica\u00e7\u00e3o de um question\u00e1rio a 175 alunos de escolas portuguesas sobre as suas concep\u00e7\u00f5es e opini\u00f5es em rela\u00e7\u00e3o aos OGM.
