A amostra \u00e9 constitu\u00edda por 20 crian\u00e7as, que frequentam o 2\u00ba (n=10) e o 4\u00ba ano de escolaridade (n=10). A recolha de dados foi realizada atrav\u00e9s da Grelha de Avalia\u00e7\u00e3o da Linguagem - N\u00edvel Escolar, da Bateria de Avalia\u00e7\u00e3o da Consci\u00eancia Morfol\u00f3gica, da Bateria de Avalia\u00e7\u00e3o da Leitura em Portugu\u00eas Europeu e de uma adapta\u00e7\u00e3o de provas de outros estudos. Conclui-se que o n\u00edvel de consci\u00eancia morfol\u00f3gica das crian\u00e7as do 4\u00ba ano \u00e9 estatisticamente superior \u00e0s do 2\u00ba ano, nomeadamente na prova de analogia de palavras e de decis\u00e3o morfossem\u00e2ntica-afixos, relativamente aos sufixos. Ainda assim foi poss\u00edvel verificar diferen\u00e7as significativas nas tarefas de leitura de ambos os grupos.
