O referencial te\u00f3rico adotado \u00e9 sobre os processos do racioc\u00ednio matem\u00e1tico na matem\u00e1tica escolar, com foco nas estrat\u00e9gias de generaliza\u00e7\u00e3o e nos processos de valida\u00e7\u00e3o relacionados. A coleta de dados foi realizada por meio da grava\u00e7\u00e3o em \u00e1udio das resolu\u00e7\u00f5es dos alunos que, posteriormente, foram transcritos pelos pesquisadores. A an\u00e1lise dos dados foi realizada a partir de um quadro que sintetiza as estrat\u00e9gias de generaliza\u00e7\u00e3o e os processos de valida\u00e7\u00e3o relacionados, constru\u00eddo \u00e0 luz do referencial te\u00f3rico do racioc\u00ednio matem\u00e1tico e com foco na natureza das generaliza\u00e7\u00f5es.
