Sendo a rela\u00e7\u00e3o entre a Matem\u00e1tica e a criatividade reconhecida na comunidade acad\u00eamica, ainda \u00e9 pouco frequente a transposi\u00e7\u00e3o dessa realidade para o meio escolar. Tamb\u00e9m os alunos devem ter oportunidades de experienciar e desenvolver tarefas que estimulem a sua criatividade matem\u00e1tica. A formula\u00e7\u00e3o de problemas pode ser entendida como um elo de liga\u00e7\u00e3o entre a estimula\u00e7\u00e3o da criatividade e as aprendizagens matem\u00e1ticas dos alunos. Este artigo analisa as rea\u00e7\u00f5es e os desempenhos de alunos do primeiro ano de escolaridade (N=22) quando desafiados a formular problemas. Aborda duas quest\u00f5es: 1) Como reagem os alunos \u00e0s tarefas de formula\u00e7\u00e3o de problemas? 2) Como realizam os alunos tarefas de formula\u00e7\u00e3o de problemas? Neste artigo foram adotados m\u00e9todos qualitativos, numa abordagem de estudo de caso, para descrever as rea\u00e7\u00f5es e produ\u00e7\u00f5es das crian\u00e7as perante duas tarefas de formula\u00e7\u00e3o de problemas. Os resultados revelaram que as crian\u00e7as foram capazes de propor problemas adequados e originais, observando-se que nenhum erro foi identificado na sua resolu\u00e7\u00e3o matem\u00e1tica, mas identificando-se casos de dificuldades no estabelecimento da situa\u00e7\u00e3o conceitualizada. Geralmente, os alunos assumiram-se como protagonistas nos seus problemas, criando situa\u00e7\u00f5es que os envolviam a si ou aos seus colegas. Tamb\u00e9m se identificou que estes tendem a aglutinar os processos de formula\u00e7\u00e3o e resolu\u00e7\u00e3o de problemas.
