O uso de representa\u00e7\u00f5es matem\u00e1ticas pode assumir um papel central na aprendizagem, ao facilitar a compreens\u00e3o de conceitos, o suporte a discuss\u00f5es matem\u00e1ticas significativas e a cria\u00e7\u00e3o de conex\u00f5es entre diferentes formas de resolver problemas. Este estudo centrou-se na an\u00e1lise das diferentes estrat\u00e9gias e representa\u00e7\u00f5es matem\u00e1ticas usadas por alunos na resolu\u00e7\u00e3o de tarefas que envolvem a compreens\u00e3o dos sentidos da divis\u00e3o. O estudo foi desenvolvido com uma turma de vinte e tr\u00eas alunos do 3.\u00ba ano, atrav\u00e9s da aplica\u00e7\u00e3o de uma sequ\u00eancia de tr\u00eas tarefas, seguindo uma metodologia de ensino explorat\u00f3rio.
