Participaram do estudo 198 crian\u00e7as (47 com incapacidades; 60 em risco; 91 com desenvolvimento t\u00edpico). O envolvimento das crian\u00e7as e os formatos de atividade foram observados com o Child Observation in Preschool; tom emocional e estimula\u00e7\u00e3o cognitiva com o Teacher Observation in Preschool. Os resultados revelaram que o tom emocional dos educadores nas intera\u00e7\u00f5es registou valores moderados, sendo mais elevados nas atividades de grande-grupo. O grande-grupo registou n\u00edveis de envolvimento mais baixos para todas as crian\u00e7as. Os tr\u00eas grupos de crian\u00e7as registam n\u00edveis semelhantes de envolvimento em jogo-livre. Concluise que, apesar dos formatos de grande-grupo apresentarem qualidade mais elevada no tom das intera\u00e7\u00f5es, \u00e9 nestes que crian\u00e7as com e sem incapacidades apresentam n\u00edveis mais baixos de envolvimento, destacando-se o jogo-livre como um formato onde todas as crian\u00e7as se envolvem mais.
