As pesquisas sobre framing, muito prof\u00edcuas na an\u00e1lise jornal\u00edstica e na cr\u00edtica medi\u00e1tica, t\u00eam uma origem multifacetada que o trabalho examina, procurando inserir uma nova linha nessa genealogia, particularmente descurada, e que tem a ver com o trabalho da semi\u00f3tica como instrumento hermen\u00eautico de cria\u00e7\u00e3o de sentido.
