O objetivo deste estudo foi construir e obter evid\u00eancias de validade para uma Escala de Engajamento dos Alunos na Escola Inferido por Professores (EEAE-IP). Participaram do estudo 488 alunos do 2\u00aa ao 5\u00aa ano do Ensino Fundamental de escolas de Minas Gerais. A EEAE-IP apresenta boas propriedades psicom\u00e9tricas, com An\u00e1lise Fatorial Confirmat\u00f3ria atestando o modelo de quatro fatores (comportamental, cognitivo, afetivo e agente). A evid\u00eancia da consist\u00eancia interna da escala foi boa com um Alfa de Crombach de 0,92 e a fidedignidade interobservador sugere que o construto \u00e9 avaliado da mesma forma por diferentes observadores. A EEAE-IP \u00e9 de r\u00e1pida aplica\u00e7\u00e3o e utiliza o professor como informante. Sugerimos novos estudos que forne\u00e7am dados para a validade em outras popula\u00e7\u00f5es.
