Ocup."],"abstract":"<jats:p>Resumo O transtorno do espectro autista (TEA) \u00e9 atualmente considerado um dist\u00farbio complexo do comportamento, caracterizado por d\u00e9ficits na comunica\u00e7\u00e3o social e por comportamentos, interesses e atividades restritos e repetitivos. Estudos indicam que de 40% a 80% das crian\u00e7as com TEA apresentam altera\u00e7\u00f5es no processamento sensorial, manifestadas pela dificuldade em responder adequadamente a est\u00edmulos sensoriais. Este estudo tem como objetivo analisar a percep\u00e7\u00e3o de pais e profissionais sobre o processamento sensorial de crian\u00e7as com TEA, de 3 a 6 anos, e investigar se vari\u00e1veis sociodemogr\u00e1ficas e profissionais influenciam o perfil de desenvolvimento sensorial dessas crian\u00e7as. Trata-se de uma pesquisa quantitativa e inferencial, cujo instrumento de coleta de dados foi a Escala de Avalia\u00e7\u00e3o do Perfil de Desenvolvimento de Crian\u00e7as com Perturba\u00e7\u00f5es do Espectro do Autismo, desenvolvida e validada em Portugal. A mostra do estudo foi composta por 50 familiares e 50 profissionais. Os resultados indicam diverg\u00eancias nas avalia\u00e7\u00f5es feitas pelos pais e pelos profissionais. As terapeutas avaliam mais positivamente a dimens\u00e3o do processamento sensorial em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com os pais. O perfil sociodemogr\u00e1fico aponta que as crian\u00e7as com TEA s\u00e3o encaminhadas por m\u00e9dicos para a interven\u00e7\u00e3o precoce e atendidas por equipes multidisciplinares. A maioria das profissionais dessas equipes tem forma\u00e7\u00e3o em TEA; no entanto, poucas apresentam forma\u00e7\u00e3o espec\u00edfica em interven\u00e7\u00e3o precoce ou integra\u00e7\u00e3o sensorial.
