Inicialmente, a avalia\u00e7\u00e3o da performance instrumental dos executantes foi realizada livremente (sem referenciais te\u00f3ricos ou instrumentos espec\u00edficos) e posteriormente baseada na Escala de Registo da Execu\u00e7\u00e3o Musical, a qual foi constru\u00edda com base na teoria de Espiral de Desenvolvimento Musical (SWANWICK, 1988). Pretendeu-se efetuar um contraste entre as avalia\u00e7\u00f5es efetuadas pelos professores de Trompete, baseadas na Escala de Registo da Execu\u00e7\u00e3o Musical (COSTA e BARBOSA, 2010) e as avalia\u00e7\u00f5es livremente produzidas pelos mesmos (sem referenciais). Quando se coloca em confronto as duas formas de avalia\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 poss\u00edvel constatar inconsist\u00eancias nas avalia\u00e7\u00f5es dos professores a respeito da performance instrumental dos alunos.
