Esporte"],"abstract":"<jats:p>RESUMO Este estudo investigou a rela\u00e7\u00e3o entre participa\u00e7\u00e3o em equipes esportivas e a motiva\u00e7\u00e3o para aprendizagem acad\u00eamica em 815 alunos do ensino t\u00e9cnico integrado ao ensino m\u00e9dio do Instituto Federal do Esp\u00edrito Santo (Ifes). Utilizou-se delineamento quantitativo e a Escala de Motiva\u00e7\u00e3o adaptada de Rufini et al. (2011). Os resultados indicaram associa\u00e7\u00e3o limitada entre participa\u00e7\u00e3o em equipes esportivas e a motiva\u00e7\u00e3o acad\u00eamica, com destaque apenas para itens espec\u00edficos dos fatores motiva\u00e7\u00e3o extr\u00ednseca por regula\u00e7\u00e3o identificada e motiva\u00e7\u00e3o intr\u00ednseca. Conclui-se que, embora o esporte escolar favore\u00e7a sentimentos positivos em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 escola, seu impacto na motiva\u00e7\u00e3o autodeterminada \u00e9 espec\u00edfico e n\u00e3o
