Os autores apresentam uma revis\u00e3o da literatura sobre os conceitos que permeiam esses modelos de gest\u00e3o, suas caracter\u00edsticas e aplica\u00e7\u00f5es no campo organizacional e analisam as principais semelhan\u00e7as e diferen\u00e7as entre eles, sendo poss\u00edvel concluir que, mais que tecnologias independentes, a gest\u00e3o de compet\u00eancias e a gest\u00e3o de desempenho parecem complementar-se em um contexto mais amplo de gest\u00e3o organizacional.
